Help - I was told (a while ago), that the seal at the front of the rV (under the bunk) was starting to rot, and it wasn't holding the screws and that it would need about $3500 of work to replace/repair the area. Can anyone give me insight on this problem? Thank you.

Common problem and the cost quoted is about right. Mine goes into the shop for the same thing in a couple of weeks. Fortunately for me, they're picking up the tab! Good luck!

how did you get them to pick up the tab? We're the 3rd owner, so don't know when this started.

We're the 3rd owner as well, however we discoverd our leaks shortly after we brought the unit home and after the first rain. We brought it to the attention of the dealer right away and they agreed to fix it. They've been very good to us.

Good for you! Guess I'll just have to pony up and pay for it! Oh well. We actually bought it from a private seller, and it's been 3 years now (maybe the leak started after we got it).

I'm presuming that CSP won't cover it, although their insurance has been great.
