cabinet door closers

2005 PACE ARROW 37C. The ends of the outside doors have broken off on several of the doors. So far (until the rain drove me indoors) I've removed the small plate under the door opener/lock (4 screws) and removed 2 screws from the aft side where the missing part slides in and out when the handle is pulled. An RV mechanic (Ericson's) told me yesterday that i'd have to remove the inside panel, but haven't figured out how to do that yet. I was hoping the missing end pieces would just slide into place. The parts guy at Freedom RV said I needed the F number of the MH and they would get the p/n from Fleetwood: he also said I'd have to drill out rivets to get the panel off, but I didn't see any rivets. Sorry for the long tale of woe, but hoping you guys can give me a hand.
Thanks, Jack

The part I was searching for is called a Latch Bolt. I bought five of them from RNR RV in Liberty Lake WA (near Spokane) for less than $5.00 each. They are the latest version (2" instead of 3" between hole centers) so you have to drill two new holes to install them.

Didn't see your earlier post, but as I recall, that is exactly what they are called on our Winnebago. Ours are attached with a pop rivet on each end of the latch bolt assembly. On ours, they can be replaced without taking the inside panel off the door ... just drill out the rivets, gently remove the broken one so you can see how it attaches to the rods that go to the latch, install the new one, and rivet it in. On ours, you can also remove the inside cover of the latch allowing visibility/access to the latch end of the rod that goes out to the latch bolt.
