Campground issues

I left Denver area and am headed south on I25 wind got so bad I pulled into a campground ONLY one is my gps for mile. They had pull thrus they do not have hot water so no showers (reason I stopped was I wanted a long hot shower for aching muscles.) No laundry unless you want cold water wash.

I asked if we get any discounts Nope rate is set. Then I tried to use wifi it is so bad I went to my 4g phone that is much faster.

I would have been better off in wallworld parking lot.

Why can't you shower in your MH? You sure have a nice one.

Hey Don,
Yeah, me too on the wondering why you couldn't shower in yours. I'm presupposing yours would have something simalar to ours in the fact that, the engine heats up the water in the water heater in your coach, right? Yes, you could have done that in a Walmart parking lot too, we have.

Campground issues

I would NEVER, EVER use the shower in an RV park. Yuck!!

I have a perfectly good - and CLEAN - shower in our coach. I've taken many a long, hot shower in our coach. You'd be surprised how long 10 gallons of hot water lasts.

And yes, that includes many relaxing, hot showers in Wally World lots.

OP...you have to tell us why you cant shower in your Dynasty. It is a boon docking palace. We must be reading your post wrong. Either that or your coach in brand new to you and don't know your systems work. If Aqua hot then you should have an unlimited supply of hot water. If propane water heater only...fire it up, wait 20 min...

X2 I've never seen the inside of the CG shower, toilet or laundry room.

clearly you are self contained, so why bother with an rv park. When we first started full timing I used rv parks a lot when traveling. Took about a year and we only used them when I couldn't find a dump and water, once or twice per week. But, that said, if you have a huge moho, then it is much more difficult to find a hidyhole to park for the night. Trick is don't put out your slides....

high winds dictate take whatever you can. you can survive one night. it would have been great to shower, but just chalk it up to bad weather. tomorrows another day

Spent 4 days last week in a campground with no services. Campground was closed for the season and everything was shut off, but for $10/night they still let you stay there (and I did hook up to sewer).

Like the others, I too wonder who you wouldn't shower in the coach.

puzzling but really not surprising. most of us have read threads from folks who don't drink water from the fresh tank, who use the shower stall as an extra closet and, most disturbing (at least to me), not dispoing of used TP into the toilet. the OP is either one of the above, a troll or his original post was poorly worded or otherwise misunderstood.
