Can someone point me to the awesome Awning rebuild thread?

I read up on it before we hit the road full time about 4 months ago and I cannot find it.

On our last 100 mile leg of our first 1900 mile in our new coach the front of the awning came loose.

Now, its fully detatched from the front screw with these NE winds

I hear it flapping up there and have searched for that thread to no avail. Its likely worse than the pictures now

The latest one which I had posted to was this one Slide out topper material replacement

I highly recommend Salem Tent and Awning in Salem Oregon for repairs or to purchase made to order.

It looks like if the topper is not rotten you may have enough material left to have a new edge sewn on then reverse the inside and outside edges and re install.

I had a similar problem and took the awning to a local auto uphostlery [sp]. There was enough material for them to sew on a new edge.
