Can't Remove License Plate Lamp

I need to replace my license plate light bulbs but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get to the bulb. The metal tabs on the side only adjust the fitment of the fixture into the body of the RV. The lens just spins around and the socket doesn't budge. Anyone know how to get this thing apart? 😩

I don't think the bulbs are replaceable. I picked up 2 new units from O'Reilly's. It's easier to replace them than fix them. Cost was about $6 each.

Have to buy a new assembly, bulb is part of the fixture. I do not know why. Just went through this a couple of weeks ago.

UPDATE:

As you can tell in the photo that I posted with my original question, my license plate lights have two wire leads, a 12V and a ground. Every replacement light I found that fit the same hole had only a 12V lead, no ground wire. The light housings were all self-grounding. This wouldn’t work for me since my light is mounted in fiberglass. After a lot of searching I came across this light at SuperBrightLEDs.com. It has a two wire feed and because it is LED, it is brighter and should last a lot longer. They were a snap to install.

Just thought I’d pass this along in case anyone else ran into the same issue.

My lights look very similar to those and I can definitely change the bulbs.

On mine, the socket and bulb pull out of the lens and housing. the bulb is just a push and twist
