Car Dolly Tire Replacement

I am wanting to replace the tires on my Demco Kar Kaddy. I recently purchased it and although in mint condition, the Carlisle tires are about 6 years old.

I would replace the tires. One of my tires separated on my tow dolly toward the end of the past camping season. It was six years old. It caused some minor damage. My tires are 14 inch in diameter and I'm contemplating replacing with an 8 ply tire instead of the 6 ply that came on it. 8 ply tires in a 14 inch size are hard to find but I checked the website etrailer.com and they appear have them. I plan to replace mine this spring.
