While on trip from San Antonio to South Carolina, we stopped at a Truck Stop / Casino to get my fix. (mistake)
Lots of trucks backed in. We backed in and with the generator running for the air conditioner you could not hear the trucks running on each side so we decided to just stay the night there. About 5:30 AM, the CO2 detector went off and woke me up. After thinking a minute on what was happening. ( I thought the battery might be going dead.) I turned on the exaust fan and pulled the RV up.
A trucker had pulled in versus backing in during the night and that put his tractor right beside our bedroom. Boy am I glad the CO2 detector worked. In a couple minutes, the reading went down greatly.
Should this have happened? I assume our air conditioner was pulling in air by his stacks and there should is no reason for my concern, but is there something I should look for?
