Does anyone know of a site to download easy to follow instructions to remove and reinstall this brand of slide topper. My topper is still in good shape but the tread on the hem has come loose causing the topper to pull away from the side of motorhome. Want to remove and have them resewn.Thank you in advance

You can find the install manuals on the Carefree site. One of them is for replacement of a Slideout Kover II fabric, which is one of Carefree's more popular slide out covers from a few years back.

Hey Spider...
We have been having Internet issues all day today - otherwise SacsTc would have answered earlier with the above links.

Ours looked like this....

You can see a couple of photos here of the project...

Spider, if you have the Omega slide toppers I have a writeup on that very subject on how I did mine. If your awning arms are shaped like a question mark, then you have the Omega. To reach me offline rbdtanasi at yahoo dot com and I will send you a copy.

Thanks Gary for the suggestion on what type slide covers I had.The web site directions were easy to follow. I removed them and had all four completely resewn for a hundred bucks here in Vegas. Tommorrow I am going to clean them and reinstall on Monday.....

Another tip I read on another thread is to reverse the fabric...as there is 6" to 12" left on the roller that has never seen sunlight, put that section on the roof when you reinstall....put the weathered length on the roller. Seems like a good idea to me. (I have one of mine off right now in an upholstery shop getting repaired)
