For my 19.5" wheels they were about 180.00 a set.

I'm sorry, I should have clarified this, $180.00 for the front set a bit more for the rear.

So say 400 dollars for all. The price to me is way to high when the adverage person times out tires instead of milageing them out.

If you go to the factory they will install them free. I believe someone told me they sell tires also, you might want to check that out also.
I had mine installed at the factory about a year ago and have been happy with their performance.

When you're using them on the 4th set of 6 tires, (like I am), the price is 1/2 that of spin balancing.

I've been running them on a long time and yes they do work. I had a set on my 03 Dodge Ram 3500 QC SB and never had to worry about balancing the tires when towing and not. I now have them on my 2014 Itasca Sunstar and yes they do make the ride a whole lot smoother.

"cwit".....They are not cheap and if they're not in your budget, it would be foolish to buy them. For some of us, the performance increase is worth the cost. You'll always have someone tent camping, who asks why the guy next to him needs that big Class C, while the Class C owner is asking why the guy next to him needs a DP.....it's all relative.

I've been around vehicles a long time but never heard of centramatic balance-rs. When I did I looked into them and decided yes. Four hundred bucks was a big hit but consider these facts. We will never have a larger RV. So we can use these for the next million miles. Your tires are always balanced. I don't have to take the RV in to a shop for re-balancing. Any imbalance that was present from the rotors, hubs or any other spinning object is automatically corrected. When I add a TPMS sensor it too will be balanced.
IMHO there's really only one choice that makes any sense. I do all the driving and will do all I can within reason to achieve the best ride, handling and driving experience that I possibly can. My relaxed pleasant time away from home begins when I plant my butt in the seat behind the wheel of the RV.
We just finished two trips here in AR. Probably a total of 800 miles. Both trips were 80% over windy twisty 2-lane roads. We went to Branson then down to the Crater of Diamonds State Park. We'll be heading to Bull Shoals for some fly fishing then to Eureka Springs for another 5 day camp out with the WBGO club of AR. All trips are over 2-lane windy twisty roads. The MH is a joy to drive. The Branson trip was the same weekend of Bikes, Blues & BBQ. That's the 2nd or 3rd largest motor cycle gathering in the US. Man were there a lot of cycles on those windy roads. No problems at all. Always felt in control.

One of the best analysis I have read in a while. .I think I'm going to save up the pennies and try these out. ...
Now if my wheels are currently static balanced and I add these. ..should I leave the existing weights or remove them?

I left the existing weights on the wheels when I added Centramatics to my then 40,000 mile coach, in '02.
However because I have the Centamatics I didn't have the next 2 sets of 6 tires balanced.
