Change belts and hoses preventively?
I have a 2006 Cat C7 Fleetwood. Bought used in 2010. I believe it still has the original belts and hoses. Considering having b&h changed before having problems. Is it time? Other things to change/look at while in there doing this?
Thanks in advance.

Never hurts to do preventative maintenance. At least you'll have a baseline and know how old they are going forward.

Yes, it's time.
Also check the fuel lines. Some of the rubber/plastic compounds used a decade or so back would eventually have the hose interior break down into a gooey mess that clogs filters.
Pretty much anything rubber or rubber-like should be inspected while you replace known wear items.

If you don't ever look at them otherwise, proactively changing (PM) is a good idea and it is time. Personally, I like to look over my belts and hoses a couple times a year and am comfortable that I will probably spot a potential problem. At least on things I can see easily. My last coach had a side radiator so most such stuff was visible. At some point, though, just change 'em.

I changed a fuel hose pouring diesel in a parking lot in Texas and just this fall I changed (paid service) a top radiator hose at a CG near Montgomery.
That you're thinking about it means that you should go ahead and do it. Belts too.
Sure it'll cost money but it'll cost lots more for mobile service not to mention sitting along the roadside somewhere waiting for someone to find the right hose or belt.

Consumer Reports had a great description of how to inspect hoses, etc. with specific criteria. Can't remember when I saw it, but you could google it.

And keep your old belts as spares.

If you can remove the radiator hoses without destroying them, they would be good to save also...

With the popularity of turbos silicone hoses seems price has come down.I looked up ones on Amazon and was surprised how much they have come down.

Mine is a 99, 34k miles, Serpentines rated for 100k, mine inspects good, and hoses appear ORIGINAL in good shape; I BOUGHT AND CARRY SPARES. ($100) Changed some tank vapor hoses under doghouse, (they were deteriorating on the outside) and the TRANS COOLER hoses due to a leak. Also converted trans cooler hoses to dual clamps at each end of each hose, as I believe leak was loose clamp.
