Chevy Chassis Class C

We are considering a 29' class c with chevy 6.0 engine. Several salesmen at rv dealerships bad-mouthed the chevy and claimed it was underpowered. I would appreciate the opinions of some owners, especially if you have this engine.

A bit more information would be helpful. What year, model, chassis. I have an 03 Chateau 26' with the 3500 Chevy Chassis and the 8.1 Vortec engine. Empty I run about 10K lbs and have about 2K in CCC. I have plenty of power and will have plenty when loaded. If you have a 6.0 L engine in a 29' MH you may be underpowered.

Good Luck

All you need to know about the 6.0L 300 HP engine

Should have plenty of power for a 29' C and get good MPG

2013 chevy 6.0 v8/6 speed auto trans, 31ft long , dry weight 11060 lbs.
under 4000 miles getting 9 mpg. wife loads this RV with everything under the sun, like she says " just in case" full tank of water and empty gray and black water tanks, well almost empty, 3gals each in black and gray tanks.
I can tell you it has LOTS of power,

Ditto Riche except 2012 28 QB Freelander. And also in comparing with the E Super Duty E 450, The ride comfort has the Ford beat in all ways. And yes, I have owned both makes. Marvh
