Hi All ,
I'm new to this so excuse my ignorance . I just got a class B chevy 20 van with a high top conversion that is in great shape , all but the upside down boat top .
I would like to redo , seal the whole thing including the side's which are painted . Dont care about the color . Any help with what to use or how to go about it would be great .
Thanks , Chain

In lieu of painting the top, maybe a spray coating like
Rhino Seal or Line X. They come in colors, low
maintenance, durable, and has insulation qualities.

Check this link, RV Roofing Solutions, I think they have a DIY kit that may work for you.

Hey thanks Paulin,
Talked to Scott , what a hell of a nice guy .He actually told me i should just have the top Gel coated and then paint it instead of selling me his product . His product would work great for the top but cuz it's rolled on it wont be smooth on the side , but i still may use his system anyway cuz i don't care about the rough texture . Im planing on painting it flat black and putting some air brushed skulls on it . I do leather work , bike seats and stuff . i go to bike shows and need a attention grabber !
Thanks , Chain

A product like Kool Seal should do the job. You can paint it on yourself and it is water proof and durable. Comes in white but can be tinted or painted over with latex paints.

Won't look as nice as a new gl coat job, but won't cost much either.
