Close call at Rincon in Ventura CA this weekend

We were in spots 74-75. This happened at 81. The guy said he fell asleep.........at 1:30 p.m. He looked like everything he owned was in that van. he hit the gray Dodge truck into the trailer that pierced the ford tow vehicle. It was a real yard sale. Luckily only minor injuries as the father/son were inside and got bounced around, broke some ribs.
By 3:00 it was like it never happened. We need some good suggestions for So Cal C.G.'s. This P.C.H. camping spot is losing its luster.

Some time back I listened to a report on TV explaining how many times a day a person would fall asleep while driving. It was a high percentage, can't remember it now, I've slept since then_.
DW and I watched a man in a pickup going very slow, go straight ahead over a street island, over a curb, hit two cars which caused his steer wheels to turn, then broadside another car. A man walking to his car, ran over, jumped through the driver window and shut off the ignition; while the pickup was slowly backing in a circle. Turned out the driver wasn't asleep, he had a heart attack.

I'm here now and saw something around that area that made me wonder if something had happened. I'll walk down and look tomorrow

I know he had an air bag that saved his life, not so sure on the insurance.
