Coach batts not charging

Hello all,

I have a 2001 Rexhall Aerbus V10

Progressive dynamics converter...output 13.4volts at the converter coach cables.

Batts (2 GC 6V) only show a steady 12v on the Victron battery gauge ( for lack of better term ). At the batts it is 12V like the monitor. Oh thatís the word.

What and where might I try to fix my issue, batts on external charger for the moment. I will re-asses them in the AM. Hope I have given enough info....if not please help me be more concise with my verbiage.

Thanks again, Mike

If you have , 13.4 volt output at the converter and it's not showing at the monitor or the batteries , then you have a bad wire or connection or possibly an inline fuse or circuit breaker .

You'll have to follow the wire from the converter to the batteries.

Your Battery Disconnect switch may be in " Store " or " Off " mode.

If its in " Use " or " On " mode, the solenoid that carries the power between the battery and converter may be bad.

The switch may be near the entrance door.

There are (usually) two 40a fuses at fuse panel board FOR REVERSE POLARITY, either loose of blown? Also, (within 18-inches of battery/ies), there is a 12vdc circuit breaker/s that have RESET buttons on the small end of the breaker (follow to where large changes to smaller battery cables?)
