Cold weather and kwikee steps won't open

just opened the door of my 02 wine adventurer and the steps did not extend open. the temp now is 23 degrees. they worked on friday when the temp was 38 degrees. leaving in a couple days for florida and no above freezing expected any time soon. any suggestions?

Is there power to the steps? If so try a hair dryer. The gas door on the deville freezes and we use a hair dryer and within a minute or two it opens. Can you move the MH so the steps are in the sun? If so turn her around. It can't hurt to try...

did you try tapping the magnetic door switch?
