How does Loves Truck Stops compare with Flying J and Pilot. I used Flying J last week and tried to use my Good Sam discount card. I had to go inside to finally get my discount and they were not overly friendly. Does Love price their gas competitive with Flying J and Love?

You will generally find that if there's a Love's and a Flying J in the same area, the prices will likely be the same. If they are in different areas that won't be the case. Truck stops, like regular stations, will generally stay about the same price as others in the immediate area.
We have found that Loves has higher biodiesel content than the Flying J's just down the road here in AL at least. Also Loves only has a rewards card for buying junk in the store whereas Flying J/ Pilot gives us $.08 off per gallon of diesel. I haven't had any problem using my card at the pump and getting my discount. Therefore we always pick Flying J over Loves if we have a choice.

Have you considered using the PenFed Cash Rewards Visa Card that will give you a 5% cash rebate on any gas or diesel purchase as long as you pay at the pump? Around here diesel is running about $3.70 per gallon, so that's a 19 cents per gallon discount!
