Contact info on outside of coach

I was considering the idea of putting a sticker on the outside of the door with our cell phone numbers and email addresses in case there was a problem with the MH we could be reached.

Do you think this is a good idea or am I missing something that would jeopardize our security?

I put a stencil on the window next to the entry door with my first name and cell number to contact in case of emergency. With us parking and traveling around to see the sights I wanted a way that if something would happen, broken water line or whatever, that I could be contacted. I have had it there for the last 2 years with no issues. I think it is a good idea.

Only after we are parked, My first name and cell number. Nothing can be compromised with this info.

I agree that a contact number is a good idea. I have had one campground call me with a problem. We made reservations for us and our traveling buddies in Page AZ. We were all away during the day and a sudden windstorm ripped their awning over the top of the motor home. The hosts were able to reach us through my cell they had taken during the reservation process. I had not thought about having a contact name and number on the coach, but I think that's a good idea. Especially since we leave our two "fur children" in the motor home during the day sometimes.

I ordered a sticker with our first names and a google phone number. Also had a QR code with our email address, but the QR code doesn't seem to work.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

I think it is a great idea as long as you don't supply too much info. I've also seen RVs with signs in the window say that in an emergence there are pets inside.

You leave that info with Park management when you register (At least the Phone number)

RING doorbell (200 bucks from ring.com) is a 2-way VIDEO doorbell using Internet to your smart phone. This is all I know about it
The Price (199.95) the URL Ring.com
It can be set to detect motion outside your door. or you can remotely look out of the door from anywhere your cell phone has data (Smart phone). or when someone pushes the button your phone Ding-Dongs and you can answer with 2-way voice, not sure if Video is 2-way or not. They are a sponsor of Ham Nation (twit.tv/hn) on the last few episodes if you want to see someone talk about it.

NOTE.. I have no connection with Ring.com, or with Ham Nation save as a viewer.

I put our names on home made business cards with a picture of our MH and our cell phone numbers plus email address.

One is mounted in the lower corner of our curb side windshield for your purpose.

The others are used when making new friends of the traveling sort.

I find I forget names but remember the rigs. That suggested the associative picture be included.

I like this idea, a nice laminated card that you could place in the front door window when away.

We have posted our contact info (name and fone #) in the window of the MH for 15 years and fortunately never had a fone call!
