I have had problems like this when by Coach batteries were failing to take a charge. How old are the batteries and how do they look. Were the batteries ever hot and putting out gas? Was the electrolyte level ever low and exposing the plates? Is the case on one of the batteries extended and appear bloated?
Replacing the coach batteries and getting a new IOTA Smart Converter/Charger I have not heard a peep!

I believe that you need to rule out whether or not you might have a bad battery. Can you see if you can do a hydrometer test and check the numbers. I believe the Beep to be a low-volt alarm. Next thing would be to check the cables, grounds and make sure those are tight.
Regardless, ruling out battery condition and cables would be the initial steps to take and it doesn't cost anything.

I had similar problem. Had to "RESET" inverter. First check and make sure there are no tripped buttons on the inverter. Next, try removing the cables going to the inverter, positive (red) first then ground (black). This should kill the power to the inverter. Wait about 5 min then re-connect in reverse order, Black first then red. Also agree with checking battery levels if not sealed type. I hope this helps.
