At this point I don't intend to cover the MH during the winter season as we on occasion will take it out monthly for a 1-2 hr maintenance drive. To take the cover on and off would be a PITA. I do however wonder if there are those who do feel that the roof AC's should be covered? Assuming the roof would be snow/ice free on one of our monthly excursions, I would think the covers chould be easily removed and reinstalled. What say everyone?

Yup, I've always used one in the winter. Keeps the rain from blowing into it sideways during storms...

Many people who travel fulltime like me never cover our air conditioners and we don't have problems. If you do use a cover make sure it can breath otherwise the air conditioner will rust, corrode, mildew, etc.
