Anybody have any solutions to keeping them in place? If possible, I would like to be able to keep them in place with a small child on them too.

Get a roll of that rubber webbing material used in kitchen cabinets to keep dishes from sliding. It helps, but not a total cure.
A piece of duct tape from the bottom of each cushion to the back side of the couch behind the cushions does pretty well. Why not? Duct tape works for almost everything!

As Tom mentioned, Velcro comes in different types of use as in buttons, squares, stick on or glue on and even sew on. You can buy strips even. These should work well for your problem.

I have a leather bed coach, the seat pillows stay put and the back cushions set on the top of seat cushions. With seat belts on kids and cushions have stayed in place. The only problem is the decorate pillows slide off coach without the kids.

As KTYSTR wrote, get a wide role of the rubberized matting and run it full length of the sofa on top of the nylon material under the cushions. It worked well for us on our other coach.

It's the nylon sreen materialthat makes them slide off.

(Camping World sells the material and most stores like Home Depot)
