Damaged Jacks

So I ran over a curb and bent my rear passenger side jack so badly that it doesn't even touch the ground any more. The other 3 jacks are operating but over several days the driver's side front jack will retract slightly and need adjusting.

I know I'm not the first person to have done this. My BIL (who is not an RV mechanic but as a commercial fishing boat owner is very knowledgeable about mechanical stuff) looked at the rear jack and said that he thought it would take cutting and welding at the very least.

Anybody got any words of wisdom for me? Any ideas about costs?

The make of the MH and jacks are? My jacks are bolted to the frame with 4 bolts and easily changeable.

Sorry for leaving this info out... and I KNOW better!

2005 Gulf Stream Independence, class A, 36' gasser, model #8361.

Last year at Lazydays FL a technician briefly looked at the jacks and said they were so messed up he couldn't tell anything about them. Well, THAT was a useful statement, right? By then I was so sick of waiting for them to get things done I told him not to bother looking at them but to finish what he was doing and let me get out of there (it had taken more than a week to get minor warranty work done + 3 days spent in their campground waiting for parts).

He implied that the damage to the rear jack was what was causing the front jack to misbehave. I don't have a clue.

If they are hydraulic, and you accident caused some seal to malfunction, the pressure on front jacks could be forcing fluid out through the damaged rear jack. This could be a possibility.
