Since Damon has no customer service or believe in Customer retention I need to find a Service Manual on a 2002 Intruder 379 to repair the electric heater valve and the front slide out rubber seal.( Both were bad at time of purchase) If some one knows where I can get or purchase a good manual please let me know. Thanks

Electric heater "valve"? Do you mean an electric controled valve? And on which heater? the one on the chassis or the furnace in the coach? I doubt that, in either case, CAmon would be using a propriatory OEM part. So if the heater is on the chassis, I would think that a Ford or Chevy dealer could help you. With the seal, I again would think that any RV dealer with a decent service department could help you.

KAYO: First off this is the Dash heater control valve (EVANS) this valve controls the hot water that goes to dash heater, is electric. When you turn on the A/C on , this valve shuts off the engine hot water to the dash heater. I have had motorhome to Damon dealer twice, then to the Workhorse dealer twice ,who then instructed me it was a Damon installed part and to take back to Damon, Damon dealer then let MH sit for a month, then called at noon one day instructed me to pick up motorhome(unfixed) as they were closing for good at 4:30 that day. Now took to another dealer and now Damon refused to fix this or the $600.00 seal on slide out because out of warranty by 6 months NOW. Even though I had receipts of incompetent techs trying to fix A/C for 4 times. Just need a GOOD service manual!! so much for Damon Customer Service and Customer Retention, which they have no idea what they mean!!.

I have never heard of any RV manufacturer offering a service manual similar to those put out by an auto manufacturere or an RV chassis manufacturer. As I said, any RV shop shoold be able to repair/replace the slide gasket. On the heating, I have never found any Rv dealer who knew squat about the mechanics of the chassis or engine systems. Sounds like something for a lawyer.
