We took my rig in to get the exterior cabinet doors adjusted and a few other things attended to.
We then went camping, let down the jacks and then tried to open up the dinette slide out.

There was a slight hesitation and then a loud bang! Turns out the RV dealer had screwed the slide out to the frame in order to make the adjustment.

Luckily, there was no great damage. We are now looking for a new dealer.

Did the dealer die of embarrasment or something with no chance that he could have left behind any offspring to continue on, thereby giving the rest of us a better chance of survival?

To get a Darwin you have to kill yourself or render yourself incapable of reproducing so that the effect is an improvement for the rest of humanity.

Sorry to hear of such an episode on such a new coach. I would have things checked out fully and hold this Dinosaur liable for the repairs or possibly the replacement of the entire coach.
