Dash Gauges Inop

2003 Tiffin, Allegro Bus, trouble with dash gauges and MC (message center) not operating. Per trobleshoot guide indications are to replace the VDC, with replacement of NEW VDC completed the problem still remains. Any ideas???

I would first check to be sure you have good grounds, followed by good connections at both ends of the harness and no blown fuses.

I have a HR Neptune 2007 and all my gauges suddenly did not work when I cranked it one day. It ended up being a computer reset accomplished by diconnecting the power connector to the back of the speedometer that in turn feeds the other gauges and reconnecting after a minute. I had the same basic problem with my fefrigerator about a year ago. I wonder if this might also be accomplished by turning off all the battery's feed in the battery compartment

Check the roller switch that varies the intensity of the backlighting of the gages. These have been a problem, at least on the Freightliner chassis.
