dash guages drop temporarly

My Father is a new member to the forum but does not yet have permission to post so he has asked me to post for him. name is (Sceptor )

On a recent trip while driving on the highway all guages dropped to zero then slowly climbed back to normal range. This happened a couple of times on a 900 mile trip. Does anyone have an idea as to why this would happen? My parents drive a 2008 Sceptor by Monaco.

Thanks

Steve

He may have a loose ground wire someplace. I have had the same problem with my Monaco Windsor on rough roads, except the engine dies and then restarts. I have had two techs look at it and each told me that he had fixed it. The second time we made it 50 miles before hitting a bump in the road and the engine died. Still have not been able to fix the glitch.

I had the same problem with my Camelot when new. The only difference is my gauges would completely die sometimes. When I was at the service center in Oregon they finally determined the speedometer was at fault as all the gauges are tied into that as a hub. New speedometer and reset the mileage and it's been perfect for over a year
