We have tried a couple of times to order a dash mat for our 2003 Windsong 353DS made by Forest River. In each case the dash mat did not come close to fitting. Does anyone know of a source for the carpeting they use to make dash mats? I would need a piece approximatley 48" by 100" to make my own dash mat. Is Ozite carpet the same thing used in dash mats? I want something without the latex backing so it will not cause staining of the dash vinyl. Thanks.

I made ours for our Pace Arrow We got got the carpet from Lowe's. It does not have latex backing but I am not sure of the name of the carpet. It was on a roll. It was 6 feet wide. It actually was a lot more than we needed but still a lot more reasonable than a purchased dash mat. It has worked very well.

Try Dashboard Designs by Josie in the back of the FMCA Magazine. Guaranteed to fit.
