Deisel Vacuum Pump

I have a 2016 Itasca Solei 34T. Recently I noticed the diesel vacuum pump located in the front compartment runs incessantly whenever a dash air setting requiring the vent be closed is selected (Max A/C or even Off). I checked all the hoses and the vacuum ball and could find no leaks. Any thoughts?

There almost has to be a leak - somewhere. Did you try plugging the line right at the pump to see if it would shut off like that? If it does, there's no if. There's a leak.

You have a leak. Use some soapy water to chase it down. While spraying the water listen for a change in the sound of the pump

I use a Smoke Pro to diag leaks in DP vacuum systems.
