I have heard there is some protectant spray that can be used to help clean up bugs off the diamonds shield. It is apparently sold at Harley Davidson stores but I am not sure if it is a HD product or not. Once applied to the diamond shield apparently bugs almost clean themselves off.
Anyone out there ever heard of this product??

Thanks

I get excellent results using RAIN-X. I actually did the experiment , putting RAIN-X on the driver's side only. Sure as shootin, after a day on the road, drivers wdo was almost clean, while passengers wdo looked like hell. Try it once!!

Dave.....Plexus is what your looking for Throttle Worx - Feed Your Passion and Fuel Your Ride!. I use it on my motorcycle and found that it works well on the Diamondshield/3M bras. It only works well after the front end is thoroughly cleaned and initially sprayed before each trip. When you stop, spray and clean the front end. The bugs will come right off.

Don't go to a Harley shop to buy it, it'll be pricey. Find a motorcycle accessory store to buy it.

Plexus is also used in that aircraft industry. Always used it on plexiglass..sounds interesting.
