Camping World in Robertsdale, AL, ordered a macerator pump for my sani-con $40 cheaper than I could find it on line. Had it shipped directly to my house.

I have no problem with Camping World but I have found that if you write a review about a product and it is negative they will not post it.

Camping World in Gulf Breeze is good when I need something on Sunday. I'm a President's Club member and I've bought a few big ticket items there.

I prefer Carpenter's Campers in Pensacola. Friendly people, a service department that knows its stuff, and a great selection in parts far outweighing anything at Camping World.

Both places are about the same distance from my house, about 55 miles. Carpenter's Campers is run by people who keep the Sabbath, hence no business on Sunday.

Really, I have always gotten the same price in the store as the advertised on line price. Didn't have to ask, it was marked on the shelf.

I shop CW for things that they carry in stock, small items like Tp, holding tank chems, bulbs, etc. Items that will have to be ordered I use the Net as I usually get a better deal ( another frugal bastich ) LOL.

We go to CW for the small things like chemicals, step mats and stuff where shipping is more than sales tax. Our store here in Albuquerque is OK for that but there service and install prices just don't GET ER DONE.

We have had mixed results with CW. Often they have the product we want at a reasonable, if not best, price.

Our chief complaint with CW is their service department. Twice they have attempted to install something only to stop many hours later and say they cannot do the installation. Both installations were doable by other shops, CW may have some lazy techs who do not want to do the difficult work. On another occasion they installed an exhaust hanger on the underside of the slide out! Fortunately, when the slide out was extended the flexible part of the hanger broke and did not damage the slide out.

I must have slipped under their radar becasue I wrote a negative one about the ends of an extension cord and it's on their site.

Personally I wouldn't have Camping World work on my lawnmower let alone a motorhome
