Diesel Generac Oil Change

I have the oil, air, and fuel filters on order through my local NAPA, but the oil type is in question. My Generac Owners manual says to use only oil "For Service CC" 10w-30 or 30w. Can't find this, what does everyone use???

I use the same oil in the Generac as I use in my MH CAT engine......Shell RotellaT 15W-40. Rook

Ditto on Shell RotellaT 15W-40 for the diesel genny.

Follow your manuals instructions you want mess up. Most gassers use that weight my Onan diesel uses 15w-40.

That's the problem my manual says to use CC 10w-30, CC is now obsolete. I've googled it but can not find a recommended replacement. I thought it was odd showing 10w-30 too. CC was for diesel engines.
