Diesel generator pick-up

Our diesel generator "runs out of gas" at approx. 50% of primary tank though the operators manual says 25%. Wonder how to extend or adjust the generator diesel "pick-up"?

Hi H. Miller,
How do you know it is 50%. Is it via the fuel gage or an accurate fill-up, or some other measurement? Coach fuel gages are notoriously off in their measurements.

I do not know a Beaver coach. On the coaches I do know, one would need to drop the fuel tank and install a new or altered pickup tube for the generator.
