Two quick questions:

(1) About how much am I looking to spend with this repair ?, and

(2) Can the fix be done in one day ?

Thanks in advance.

(BTW, it's the Flair in the sig below with a Chevy 454/GM chassis)

I would guess about an hour of labor so maybe $100 - $150 plus the seal which is maybe $20. Really a pretty easy job.......IF you have the right tools

Your GM chassis should be cheap compared to my Spartan. It was $70 for the seal, $19.50 for brake cleaner to clean up the mess on air bags etc, and $250 labor to replace the seal & fluid & clean up the mess. PLUS, $90 for 20qt of Delo 85W140 gear lube.
