Discounts Off MSRP

I know there has been a great deal of discussion regarding discounts and what should be expected when purchasing new. Since it is the end of the 2014 model year and prices are being cut and I have an looked at a rig which has been discounted about 28%.

We have yet to discuss final price, but is it reasonable to shoot for more or is this probably the limit as 28% seems pretty good. I figure that they probably won't do much more that 30%.

What do you guys think?

It really depends on the coach and on how much they want to get rid of it, but IMHO, 28% is pretty good but I'd try to work them up to 30% at this time of year. Others have reported doing a little bit better.

Depends on the dealership. A large high volume store might discount 30 to 33%. A small dealership will need more markup to cover overhead and 25 to 28% is all they will go. It never hurts to offer 33% off, all they can say is no.

28% is a good deal but 30 % is a better deal. You can always come down on your offer. No harm in asking fo the better deal.
