I just purchased 4 marine docking lights, really nice recessed type, it was a bargain, couldnt pass up.........!
running those to both sides, on a seperate circuit........ I know I need a relay.. 30amp?
in line fuse?
and what type of switch (s) ,,,, one that wont melt I hope. nyone know of an example diagram..
thanks its going in a 2004 Winnie Adventurer 35u

On my 04 Vectra the docking lights will only come on when you are backing up,as long as the docking light switch is on.So look at the backup light circuit it maybe large enough to handle the extra load.

Walt, where did you get the marine docking lights, and what did they cost? I've been considering the same thing but haven't found anything I like yet.

As far as wiring them up, yes a relay would be a wise choice. Try and determine the current drawn by each light. If you have a digital volt/ampere meter you can do that fairly easily. As far as a switch goes the relay coil current will determine the size of the switch. Most relays pull less then an amp, so just about any good switch will do.
