My Damon's dash radio runs off the house batteries. Every time some one turns the battery disconnect, in the house, I have to reset the clock and programed radio stations. I guess they were to busy to wire the memory battery back up wire to the chassis battery. My radio works whether the key is on or off, but it never works very good. My regular house radio with a built in antenna gets better reception than the MH radio.

The main power to my radio are the coach batteries. The keep alive power is from the chassis battery. Did it myself.

My '00 GB Cruise Master dash radio/CD runs off the chassis battery.
