I haven't figured on a name for mine yet but I want to name it something.
It's a 1991 rockwood 28 foot class A (model unknown) that spent most of it's life and 66618 miles with it's 2nd owner until it was left under a carport next to a barn for about 5 years or so.
During that 5 years a lot of dry rot happened and it turned into a mouse hotel.
I've been cleaning it up and living out of it since June and plan on living out of it for the foreseeable future. It definitely has a character and it's getting a lot of much needed TLC (some of it redneck engineering...)
but it's more of a lifeboat for me than something I take out on the weekends and I haven't really found something that seems fitting yet. I am open to suggestions though.

With your lifeboat analogy something from Gilligan's Island might be appropriate...

Just Rite 2. My dad built his own class c back in the early 70's, it was Just Rite 1. Guess family names are comforting.

Our daughter calls it the "Tour Bus." I call it the "Beast" because it it big, powerful, dirty when traveling and makes beastly noises when climbing hills.

My sister loved the idea of roughing it in a Mongolian tent. Not me. I like my amenities. Hence, the name of our motorhome:
