Dometic Thermistor Temperature Chart (RM2852)

Hello Everyone,
During the last two weeks of our winter migration, we found out the fridge was freezing everything over. That started right after I cleaned it thoroughly. Maybe I didn't place the thermistor back the proper way or at the proper height?
In any case, today I did the resistance test (put the thermistor into ice-cold water and tested the resistance), and it read 8.8K ohms. It should tell me the thermistor is good, but maybe I need to do a more extensive test and compare the results with the offical temperature vs resistance chart. Does anyone have copy or a link to it?
Also, is the position of the thermistor on the fin critical, to the point of frrezing up the entire fridge if not placed properly?

Yes placement effects cooling .
I'm sure this info is for Dometic only not Norcold.

Dometic RM2852 uses an 'Auto Temp Control' (no temp setting adjustments on upper panel)

The thermostat is factory calibrated for temp range between 34*F to 42*F based on fed back from thermistor which senses FIN temp (fin temp typically 10*F LOWER then food compartment temp)

Thermistor tip should just protrude out top of clip
Clip should be on far right fin ....OEM is Mid position

Fridges that use the 'auto temp control' scheme can have overall temp affect by location of thermistor (6*F - 8*F)
Moving thermistor/clip UP....cooler temps
Moving thermistor/clip DOWN.....Less cooler temps
Is it time for YOUR medication or MINE

I'll test both repositioning the thermistor in the clip, and the clip itself.
