Double-decker bus conversion to motorhome

Yep - it's in Europe but there are plenty of these driving around in the US as well. Maybe we will see more of them converted to an RV. Benefit: good square footage without the need for slideouts. Drawback: height.

Fairly ambitious project, to be sure.

Height listed at 4 meters of the bus , 13' 5" give or take an inch , No mention of the interior height of each level in the completed conversion. I'm thinking it'll be a little tight in there.

He lists the interior heights as "lower 1.85 m, upper 1.65 m" on his FAQ page here

A really fascinating project. Thanks for posting this!

Looks great ; but ; JMHO; after doing the conversion and having , 1.85m or 6'1", headroom in the lower level, and 1.65m or 5'5" headroom on the top level. Most people trying to do a walk through , would question if the money spent was worth it.
Although , I do have friends that were in our wedding party , that it would suit to a " T " . He's 5'4" she's 4'10".

What a tremendous amount of work and money. I enjoy seeing good engineering.

I've several of these conversions listed on Ebay. Looks very livable with plenty of room but storage might be a consideration.

Wow it was an impressive conversion. No telling how much it cost to do all that work. It is a cool concept.
