I have tolerated the original underpaded seat too long.

Suggestions as to a source for a nice new comfy seat for the captain.

You could also pay a visit to a Big Truck Salvage Yard and maybe pick up one of those wonderful air ride seats!

Another option might be to call an upolstery shop and see if they could repad the one you now have.
When we had our C, I had the drivers redone and the cost was about $100.
