Driver Side Storage

Been searchung for something and have had no luck. I am looking for something I can mount to the left of the drivers seat below the window on My Georgetown. I would like something with trays, where I can stow my sunglasses and other items. The coach came with only a cup holder, which is to far forward, and a mesh unit down low.

Anyone else made this kind of Mod?

if you don't have a driver's door, your options are wide-open. I would take a trip to either wal-mart or even the dollar-store. Normally in the same section as those screw on cupholders, there's tiny cargo trays.

something like this....storage + another cupholder

there's also this one made by Bell (the bike helmet company). It has storage in between cupholders

Honda sold really nice sunglasses holders through their the parts dept....they weren't expensive at all.

Thanks for suggestions Jon. I had thought of some of these, but guess I was holding out for something a little more "fancy". May be out of luck though, since I have not found anything yet. May have to settle on one of types you displayed.

I moved my shelf on the left side of the driver seat. The cup holder was too far forward and down. It was mounted with 2 screws. I moved it up and back and now I can put a big cup in it.

My motorhome has a driver's door, so Imaynot have many options to improve my driver's side storage. Still I'll be watching for ideas, hoping I can adapt something for my passenger side.

RAM mounts makes a lot of different things you could look at. Lots of there stuff is geared toward the trucking industry. I have a floor mount that extends up beside the left side of the drivers seat. RAM has multiple things such as cup holders that are interchangeable to the different mounts. I have an IPad holder that is adjusted perpendicular to the floor and I use it as a small table.
