We finally were able to take out the MH this past week and I ran into a problem that is driving me nuts (and that's a short trip). When driving down the road at any speed over 35 mph, a "rattle" sound is heard in the slide out wall behind the drivers seat. I believe it is the slide awning rattling in the mount and the sound being transmitted through the wall behind my head. Any ideas on how to stop/correct??

I believe the more we drive our units the more they will rattle, especially around the slides.

In my case the rattle comes from the lock arms for the slideout. I use a bungee cord to keep the arms suspended tightly.

We had a slight rattle under some conditions while driving, and finally traced it to the pull strap for the window awning on the slide-out. It I pull the strap toward one end as I put the awning up to make the strap shorter, I can lessen or eliminate the "rattle."

My antenna on the roof above the living room slide behind the driver rattle until I installed weather stripping on the wings and shaft the sound travel in slide, front dash and side wall driving me crazy and took several months till I found it.
