How many newer coach owners are having problems with there dual pane fogging up? I have been amaized at the new units I've seen still on the lot with this issue. I for one would probably be satisfied with single pane but they are hard to find on the new coaches. Discussed the problem with a dealer and he said the new windows are not made like the old ones. Well, I think that comment should be up for a real debate. I have a problem with one on my 94 but I would think that should be expected but for some that haven't even reached a new owner???

I have a 1999 Newmar with dual pane windows and have not had any problems with them. When I was looking for a coach the ones I saw with fogging were the dual pane windows in the drivers area. Mine has single pane windows in the foward area. Maybe more flex in that area?

I have a 2006 Holiday Rambler Endeavor so far the only issue I have had with the windows is the door window has started to fog up between the glass.

I have have owned two Dutch Stars with dual pane windows and I have never had any fog up. Many of my friends have newer motorhomes and they have not had problems either. What manufacturer are you looking at that has defective windows?

My '97 Endeavor has both sides (driver and passenger) fogged up bad. I have purchased, but not yet replaced, the two panes. It turns out the windows were made by Atwood, the same folks that make the hot water heaters. I finally got to the right person at Atwood and discussed this issue. Apparently it was a big problem, but not serious enough for the DOT to make them fix it under warranty.
It turns out that Atwood was buying the glass from an outsourced glass company (name not revealed to me) at the time my coach was made. Apparently the quality was not there. Later Atwood built there own glass foundry and started making their own glass. I do not know what year this started, but wished it had been when mine were built. The good news is that Atwood will sell the replacement panes to the public, so you don't have to replace the entire window. The two panes cost me about $138.00 shipping and all. If I had to buy the entire window, they would have been about $500.00 each. Kudos to Holiday Rambler/Monaco for helping me find the right window part numbers and telling me about Atwood selling the glass panes to the public.

I forced water between the panes of glass in a fixed bedroom window by using a high pressure washer to clean bird dirt off the window.

I had a 2003 Tiffin until a few months ago and as of then they looked great.
My new 08 Tiffin also has no issues either.
