While driving in the rain my tail and running lights went off. Thought for sure a short and burning a fuse. Checked this morning and fuse is ok. Then I also noticed some times when I first put on lights they do come on for a few seconds. ???????????

bob@29154, welcome to irv2
With the age of your coach you might check your tow plug in back of coach and all ground locations for loose or dirty connections. Something is getting wet and causeing a high resistence short. It could be in one of your head lights or running lights. Could be getting wet from a brake down of sealents around running lights. The plug in back may have corroded wireing in harness.

Ok I found my problem. Would you believe a bird nest in my battery compartment layin across one of my batteries. Evidently the rain splashed up getting the nest wet. Cleaned it up and all works well. Thanks for the tip.
