I have a 1995 Fleetwood on a P30 with a chev 454 engine. The aux electric fan does not operate when the AC is turned on, or maybe never. The fan motor itself works fine. Where do I start looking for the problem?

What are the auxiliary fans? Are these the ones high above the dash just inside the windshield?

Thanks for the response, I mean the one in front of the radiator!

These are your condenser fans and are necessary to convert the refrigerant hot gas from your compressor into a liquid in the refrigeration process. You will not get a/c without them working. It could be an electrical problem only. Trace the circuit and check all fuses. You can run a temporary hot wire to the fan to see if it runs at all. If not, it is probably a fan motor issue. It could be that you have a low pressure cutout switch in your a/c system that disables the fans, and usually the compressor also, from working if the refrigerant charge is low. If that is your problem, you will need to add refrigerant and possibly look for a leak that has caused this. Most systems have very slow leaks that are impossible to locate and take years for enough refrigerant to leak out for this to occur.

Thanks yudamann for the time and info!!! My AC is charged and works fine while moving, air flow. I'm having trouble tracing the wires through the wire looms and hope someone may know where they end up????

On my 1995 P30 the condenser fan (that year there was only one large fan) was activated by a pressure switch in the AC and/or by a temperature switch in the engine coolant - passenger side head as I recall. The temperature switch was the primary turn on device.
There is a fan relay that actually does the switching. On mine it was located under the hood on the AC plenum on the passenger side. The relay or it's fuse may be bad. There was also a fusible link on the drivers side firewall for the fan itself.
