Electric Floors = Time to heat up

We are building a coach now in Red Bay, and the floors were still not warm after 30 minutes. Does anyone know how long I can expect to wait for the electric floors to heat up? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

It might depend on what the floor covering is over the heating wires. I'd think 30 minutes should be plenty to detect heat, perhaps not really take the chill out of the RV, but at least know they're working. If you're hooked to an electric meter, does it show an increase when the heat is on?

Sounds like a good question to ask Tiffin!

Is this heat operation working on AC or DC power? On DC I can see it taking quite a while to heat an entire floor. On AC, 30 minutes ought to be more than adequate to see if it will heat up - not warm the air, but the floor (is it tile? ) should be warming up.
