Sounds good on paper, NO truth save for the fact that many parks do not allow Electric heat, Reason is wrong.
First: I have two electric space heaters. on is on a 20 amp breaker and has NEVER tripped it, the other a 15 and also has never tripped it, Both heaters are 1500 watts.. NOTE Follows about RV wiring, These heaters are plugged into 15/20 amp outlets that were installed SPECIFICALLY for their use and each outlet is the ONLY thing on the breaker that feeds it, NO daisy chain.
The reason parks do not want you using electric heat is because in many parks, Electricity is part of the site rental, and they do not want to pay for it. My Theory is I'm paying for 50 amps. I'm using it.
Now the note
I have found the standard wiring in many RV's is not up to a 12 amp load, and what's worse outlets are daisy chained so even though your heaters are plugged into different outlets... They are on the same breaker, and 2 1500 watt space heaters WILL trip a 20 amp breaker.
Which is reason #2 as to why I have installed special 15/20 amp outlets fed each by a breaker all to itself with 12ga wire bent around a properly tightened screw.
Before I did that I smelled "Hot wires" and ... That scares me.
Others have had actual failures, arching and thankfully not, that I know of, a fire, but it was very possible.
