Electrical breakers tripping preventive checks
I am usually on top of preventive maintenance and checks to keep our rig up and ready.
Last week i kept tripping the front a/c cb and sort of figured it was because it has been so hot and the voltages have been fluctuating from 112-122, so i dismissed it as a FIX now problem. I had noticed the breaker was warmer than the others but not alarming warm.
yesterday i secured power to the mains and removed the cover to give a look see at the cb's and the wiring.
Without much effort i turned the wire lug on the main 50 amp breaker 1/2 turn, then an additional 1/8th to torque.
i also found the front a/c cb to have 1/4 turn with not much effort on its lug.
so i torque checked all the connections and found several more than needed tq'd.
so i figured as a heads up or psa, i would throw the flag out there.
