I have a chevy workhorse chasis with 454 7.4 vortec engine. Yesterday I left and about a mile from the house the radio shut off and the dashboard lights came on. the engine started running eratically. Then everything started running fine. About a mile farther the same thing happened but the engine turned off. After stopping it started again then died about half mile up the road. I restarted and than it ran fine no problems. the next morning the dashboard lights and radio quit just for a second and than no problems all the way home. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Like the previous topic grounds can cause big problems. On your frame up front on frame under bumper area you have a ground post check white wires on it for clean and tight connections also check ground wire from chassis battery on frame and batt to make sure they are tight and clean. Muiltible wires on ground post are for HWH jacks and control ckts on fire wall. While your at it make sure battery + connections are good also.
If you don't have the post look for a ground buss or common grounds in a twist splicing nut may have come loose.

It was the battery terminals. The positive was loose.
