Electrical issue

We plugged into 30AMP service with the adapter from 50AMP cord. Blue lights on 50amp cord no longer light up when plugged into a 30 Amp shore power. Is this normal? Tv's only work on invertor. While plugged into 30 amp shore power TV's dont work but microwave DOES work on the 30 AMP service.
Fuses and breakers were checked. nothin looks blown.. HELP

Defective or miswired adapter come to mind although your rig could also be miswired.
I have a 30/50 amp adapter that I've used for years on other MH's. Tried to use it on the Magna and the electrical protection built in wouldn't "approve" the power. Changed to a different adapter and everything is fine again.

You might check out your 30/50 converter plug. I have found a few "off brands" that only power one leg of the 50 amp system. You need one that sends power to both legs. Chances are you will only have one AC working as normally there is only one AC on each leg of the circuit.

Highly recommend either Camco or Progressive Industries adapters.

Hi,

Sounds like you have a bad adapter or post is miswired. I use my 50/30 adapter and everything works fine.

I'm curious for how the post could be miswired.
Explain possible scenario please.
