You would have a panel inside the coach which shows your current (no pun) amperage draw and what appliances are pulling juice.

An Energy Mgm't System may not have meters to show actual power draw - some are not that elegant. And the presence of meters alone does not indicate that a power mangement system is operative - upscale rigs have had power meters for many years, designed to allow the primary power controller, YOU, to do your job.

However, there will be some kind of power control panel with at least an idiot light to show whether loads are currently being "shed" or not. The simpler of these systems, dating from from the Intellec power managers of the early 90's, may simply prevent two a/c units from cycling on at the same time. More sophisticated systems may handle multiple loads, e.g. water heater and fridge as well as a/c's.
